Modularity appears to be the latest trend in new smartphones. The LG G5 did it earlier this year with its unique slide in camera, battery and DAC. Now more recently, Motorola is taking a run at modularity by adding that feature to their new Moto Z phones with replaceable back covers, speaker, and a projector. The Galaxy S6 Elite Smartcase is priced at $99.99 and has an 1800mAH battery that increases the phone’s run time by 12 hours, adds 64GB more memory and a micro sd slot expandable up to 128GB. i-BLADES offers an S7 version of the Elite case for the same price, but it increases battery life by 18 hours. If you want something a bit more stylish, there’s the Modern version of the S6 case which features Italian leather and a $119.99 price tag.
