The Evo Motion sensor from Elgato is a wireless motion sensor with HomeKit technology for Apple devices. This sensor can detect a user’s presence or absence in a room to enable or disable power outlets, heating and air conditioning systems, lights and more without needing to open an app or voice commands with Siri or an additional bridge/hub.
The Eve Motion sensor is powered by AA batteries, has a 120° field of view, a typical reaction time of two seconds, an IPX3-certified water resistance rating, and comes in a white housing that is free of buttons or displays.
Elgato’s range of Eve sensors can communicate with the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV devices. Eve Motion is available for $49.95 from Elgato and Amazon.
