I love all things that glow which stems from my childhood days when I was fascinated with glow in the dark toys and fireflies. Thus, it’s not unusual that the Firewater Solar Bottle Lantern caught my eye. This unique 700-milliliter silicone water bottle (6.5″ x 4″ x 3.5″) doubles as a lantern that when turned on has a brightness from between 50-100 lumens depending on the setting. There are three settings: low, high, and flashing. It will run for five hours on high and 12 hours on low. You can charge it in eight hours using solar power or charge it in five hours using a USB cable. It can also function as a waterproof container to store and protect your valuables, and it’s collapsible! What more can you ask for? If you are interested, the Firewater Solar Bottle Lantern is available in blue or white from the Grommet for $25.45. It’s perfect for all day summer outings, camping, trick-or-treating, etc.
