Some newer laptops like Apple’s latest MacBook Pro use a USB-C port for both charging and connecting to accessories. But without USB TYPE-A connectors (which I guess is what we’re supposed to call the “old” style USB 2.0 and 3.0 connectors), how do you charge your iPhone, Nexus 6P or other USB-A devices? SCOSCHE comes to the rescue with their new USB-C Hub – USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter. This adapter plugs into the USB-C port on the laptop and provides three ports. There’s an HDMI port so you can add a second display or mirror your current display, a USB Type-A port that allows the connection to older accessories like flash drives and charging cables for smartphones, and a USB-C port provides pass-through charging of MacBooks or other Type-C computers even when the other ports are in-use. The SCOSCHE USB-C hub is priced at $59.99 and is available now through SCOSCHE.com.
