Over the years of reading and writing for The Gadgeteer, I have seen a fair amount of combo eating utensils. While most of these have a spork like configuration, only a few have had a knife or cutting blade. KA-BAR (known worldwide for their Marine fighting knife) has come up with their version of a field eating utensil, the Tactical Spork. The Tactical Spork is made from food and water approved Grilamid and has a serrated knife hidden in the handle. The Tactical Spork is 6.875 inches in overall length with the blade of the knife being 2.5 inches (legal for carry in most states). The price of $6.93 from the KA-BAR web site is nice, but you must make a minimum order of three sporks ($20.97 before shipping) or you can order one for about $18 from Amazon.
